Pur3x - Is It A Good MLM Business Opportunity?

Pur3x has roughly one year under it's belt, but can it stand the test of time? More importantly, is it the right opportunity for you? If you're a Pur3x rep or have been approached by someone telling you that Pur3x is the ticket to wealth and health beyond your wildest dreams, then this review is for you. This will be critical to your decision making process.

The Pur3x Product Line

Pur3x is based out of Salt Lake City and claim to create high end designer beverages that fulfill very specific health oriented needs. Their products, Pur Renew, Pur Revolution Renew and Pur Passion are energy drinks. Pur Renew contains caffeine, while Pur Revolution is non-caffeinated. Pur Passion is for sexual enhancement. They say these drinks also contain healthy ingredients. Recently, organic coffee was added to the product line as well.

Pur3x is looking to take a large bite out of the health and wellness industry. They indeed have very heavy competition. Nearly 4800 of the 5000 mlm companies are in this very same niche. Their product also has to contend with popular energy drinks anyone can get from their local store or gas station. Drinks like Red Bull, Rock Star, 5 Hour Energy drink are all competition and much more cheaper.

This is something you should definitely consider when thinking of joining any nutritional company. Is the product unique enough?

And since your income will come from loyal customers and reps, in these economic times, will someone pay $99 - $150 (the cost of Pur3x products) every month? Would you sign on for the company without a comp plan being attached to it?

The Pur3x Compensation Plan

The Pur3x compensation plan is a traditional 3 X 12 matrix plan, meaning that you will only have to sponsor 3 people on your 1st level.

There are 4 types of income available: Retail Sales Commissions, Fast Start Bonuses, Matrix Override Bonuses, and Matching Bonuses. You will have to have $150 in personal sales volume to qualify.

1. For every retail sale, the distributor receives a commission of 4% of the price.

2. Fast Start Bonuses - Every time you sponsor a new distributor, you will receive a minimum bonus of $75

3. Matrix Override Bonuses - Allows you to receive $6-$8 from each case of Pur3x sold up to 12 levels deep.

4. Matching Bonus - If qualified, you'll receive a matching bonus of 10% of the matrix override bonuses earned by your sales team. Since the bonus is only 10%, I'm not sure if Pur3x should call it a matching bonus. There are some companies that provide a 100% matching bonuses to infinite levels. Pur3x certainly doesn't have the most lucrative comp plan in the industry.

Where Pur3x Falls Short

Do you want your business to be dependent on your family or friends who've never been entrepreneurs, never heard of mlm, or if they have, they think it's a scam?

That's the issue with Pur3x. They are teaching you how to sell energy drinks and not how to be a network marketing professional. You've probably heard that online lead generation is the best way to market your business and get a steady flow of prospects.

The problem for most marketers is that they don't understand the true meaning of network marketing or how to generate their own leads. If you and those you sponsor don't get this, then you will lose them when they jump ship to the next hyped up pre-launch miracle product mlm. Most likely, you'll jump too and wonder why 5 years later, you've gone absolutely nowhere in your network marketing career.
